Isn't this wrong, but oh so very funny if you know anything about the French Revolution? And that last sentence about poor Marie being the "target of skepticism" could rate as one of history's greatest understatements.

If you think there's a reason for this post other than me sharing the amusement of literary and historical action figures, I am appalled.
